WEIGHING AT A COMBINED 1100 POUNDS, WEARING ……… umm …….. Well let’s just hope they are dressed period.  Except for Scratch, I’m sure he’ll be shirtless. FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAKSWIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH! 

About 10 bands putting on the gloves in attempts to win rock supremacy.  Freakswitch has taken off their hat and thrown it into the ring.  Make no bones about it; this is not an ego kind of gig for us.  We are in this because we love to play……….. That’s it.  Winning is irrelevant.  We won last year and forfeited the title.  Why?  We just want to play.  We aren’t young pups anymore and we have all had a great non-professional music career.  So let the up and coming musicians get a taste of being appreciated so they can carry on for future wanna be rock stars.  So you know, “if” Freakswitch were to win the battle, you get bet that we will bow down again and allow another band to reap the benefits. Which in all honesty I have no clue on what they are. 

There real winner is not only the bands for getting a big place to play, but all money raised will be given to local charities.  It’s like getting kissed twice from the prettiest girl in the class.  OR if you’re a woman, it’s like the hot UPS delivery guy asking you out on a date.  It’s sure to be a great weekend with many activities going on (other then the battle).  Visit the blackthorn resort on line to see about festivities, rooms, food, etc. See you there…
