Social Sites…



The saying goes “Trying to keep up with the Jones’”

Do you realize how difficult is with todays internet.  Remember ions ago when you wanted to check out a bands page, you actually had to go to their website (ie www.freakswitch.com).  Not today.  Now there are what seems to be like a million different social sites out there where you can keep in touch with just about anyone and/or anything at anytime.

This band is no different.  If you look at the bottom right corner of our website, it will show you every social site Freakswitch belongs to.  Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Reverb Nation and others that I have no idea what they are.

No, I’m not one of those anti-internet type of people.  I love checking it out just as much as the next.  But aren’t these sites getting ridiculous?  There just too many.

Now with us, we have split up the duties on which sites each individual will maintain.  If you are a myspace junkie, request to become our friend and you will be talking with the one, the only, Mike Polito.

Myspace not your thing?  Thats cool.  Hit us up on Facebook and you will have the priivy and conversating with Mike “Scratch” Skaretka.

You part of the Twitter community? Well follow us on there and you will catch the wit of yours truly keeping you up to date. 

AND HERE is where the problem begins.  HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU MAKE A NAME ON TWITTER?  I don’t know if its because I don’t totally know what the hell I am doing there, or ………… well …………… thats about it.  I try to study it but its not like facebook or myspace where you can scroll people and just request their friendship.  You have to actually know the persons name you are looking for.  So what I ask of you is that if anyone that reads this and is on Twitter and know what you are doing, please find me on there and give me lessons.  The more the merrier.

Now for those of you that passed 1st grade math, you realize that I’ve talked about three sites but there are four members in the band.  Well its not that Brian wouldn’t take care of one if we asked,  but we want him to concentrate on lyrics.  PLUS with his Bronx attitude, we don’t need him pissing people off.  I do that enough in this band.
