For all you supersticous people out there, its time to change your thinking. Walking under a ladder isn’t bad luck, its stupid. Something can fall off and hit you in the head. Stepping on the cracks in the sidewalk will not, let me say that again, WILL NOT break your mothers back. Breaking a mirror doesn’t give you seven years bad luck, just gives you a million little images of the person looking into it rather than one big image. And when you look as good as you do, the more images the better. Black cats crossing your path isn’t bad luck either. Is a black dog crossing your path bad luck? No. Then why sterotype a cat.
And Friday the 13th isn’t bad luck either. NOT THIS TIME ANYWAY! Freakswitch on November 13th (yes its a Friday) will be playing at Tuxedo Junction opening up for the Godsmack tribute band called Faceless.
Tuxedo Junction is a venue in Danbury CT that has TV screens throughout the bar which shows the band live while they are playing. So there isn’t a bad spot in the place. This place is HUGE! After all, you know what they say about HUGE venues, huge stage and dance floor.
This is an excellent time for those with kids to find a sitter that night, go to dinner, come see the band and make a night out of it. Guys, you know your lady just loves “date night”. It tells her you love her. Or at least that you’re use to her.
For those who are single and/or don’t have kids, Break your normal routine of going to local bars and come join us in Danbury. Think about it, you might score with someone from out of town rather then get rejected by the same people you see every week at the same clubs.
And for the rest of you that have been following us from the beginning, let me say “thank you” and add that we will be adding a few new songs to our set. So even though you are now expected to be there, in case you were planning on taking the night off from Freaky Deeky, you don’t want to miss the opportunity of being the first to witness the new sounds of the ‘Switch.
For those that plan to go or are thinking of going, let us know. We need to get a round-a-bout head count to let the bar know how many tickets we need.
Until next time…
MK
Hey Mike! Looking forward to Friday Nov. 13th!!!
