Freakswitch is going back into the studio. 

“Due to scheduling conflicts, the CD has taken longer than we had hoped.  But such is life. We are going back into the studio on the 4th and we should have a better idea for release date after that.”  Mike K.

UFO is coming to the Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY on the 8th of Oct.  Freakswitch will be one of the local acts to partake in the entertainment for that evening.  Tickets are on sale.  If you care to support local bands, you can purchase your tickets for that night through them.

Other news.  Scratch has been feeling some discomfort in his left shoulder as of late.  He will meet with his highly skilled team of doctors the beginning of next month and is hopeful that surgery will not be needed.  In the case that Scratch will be out of commision for any length of time, the band will take a short break and continue to right new material in their down time.  When approached by the possibility of chillaxing for a few, Brian was quick to say “If Def Leppard can wait for their drummer, then we can wait for ours!”

Mike Polito is a mad man.  He is constantly on the prowl for new venues for the band to play.  And you can bet your bippy that 2010 will jam packed with shows from Albany to Albania.
